I offer counseling services for individuals and couples living in the state of Tennessee and virtual therapy for those living in the state of Texas.

My rate is $175 per therapeutic hour (50 minutes), and I have a limited number of sliding scale options that are available. Payment is due at the time of your scheduled appointment.

I do not accept insurance but can provide a super-bill statement for you to submit to your insurance company to seek potential out-of-network provider reimbursement.

Clients are free to cancel or change a scheduled appointment with a 24-hour notice. Otherwise, the full session fee will be charged for a missed session or a no-show appointment.

Couples Therapy

I firmly believe that we were made for connection! Connection is a basic human need. When we experience disconnection in our relationships, we may become dysregulated and experience struggles. We long to be fully known and seen by our partners, to have deep intimacy with them. My role is to help couples identify the ways their patterns of interactions are keeping them from having deep intimacy with one another. I assist them in learning new ways of interacting to help them have reparative experiences with one another in session. These new experiences lead to greater connection and deeper intimacy.

I also offer premarital counseling services for couples. If you complete premarital counseling you can get $60 off of your marriage license. Premarital counseling is designed to help partners process through different relationship elements and learn strategies to help navigate struggles in marriage. My role is to help couples process through fears, needs/longings, and learn communication strategies to help better prepare for marriage. We will discuss some of the main stressors that bring couples into therapy.

If you are experiencing some of the following struggles in your relationship, couples therapy may be a good fit for you.

  • Communication Struggles

  • Emotional/Physical Intimacy Struggles

  • Feeling Disconnected or Misunderstood

  • Infidelity

Individual Therapy

One of the most important connections we have is the connection to ourselves. Throughout our life, we may experience moments that are difficult for us to process or understand. These moments can feel scary and confusing. Instead of being curious with these moments, we avoid them, push them aside, or dismiss them. These experiences shape how we view ourselves, others, and the world—not just in how we behave in certain situations, but also in how we experience things emotionally, how our physical body senses things, and what meaning we make about things.

Internal tension and disconnection are so common for us to feel as humans. This is our body’s way of encouraging us to be curious with ourselves and to move towards compassion and understanding vs. moving towards toxic shame and dismissing our experiences. My role is to help individuals identify the moments in their life that have impacted them. I assist clients in learning how these moments have shaped their thoughts, emotions, and their physical bodies. I encourage clients to engage with all parts of themselves to move towards integration and deeper connection.

If you are experiencing the following struggles, individual therapy may be a good fit for you.

  • Experiencing Emotional Highs/Lows

  • Difficulty Letting Go of Things

  • Struggle to Understand Emotions

  • Difficulties Processing Past Trauma/Experiences

  • Struggles Setting Boundaries

  • Struggles with Identity/Self-Worth

  • Dating/Relationship Struggles

  • Struggle Managing Stress

Group Therapy

Group therapy is an opportunity to enhance your therapeutic experience. It is an effective way to process emotional and relational struggles that lead majority of people to seek individual therapy.

Group therapy is for those who want to take the next step in their growth and healing. Group provides you a safe space to ask for what you need, build empathy, gain perspective, assert yourself in a healthy way, work on your relationship triggers, and set healthier boundaries that honor yourself. It is also a place where you can practice the skills and concepts you’ve acquired in your individual therapy.

 No Surprise Act Notice

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items or services.

As a client, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs to medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. My services do not provide or include medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, or hospital fees.

Make sure your therapist gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or at the time of your appointment. You can also ask your therapist, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (323) 609-9887.
