Kelcie Silva Counseling

Hi there! I’m Kelcie.

I am so glad you are here! I am one of the lucky ones who knew from a young age exactly what I wanted to do. I have always loved helping others and saw things through a systemic lens from a young age. Being a therapist just felt right to me. I feel so grateful to get to do this! My hope is to create a safe space for people to explore the deepest parts of themselves and move towards wholeness. I feel so honored to sit with people in their most truest forms and witness their healing journey.

So, thank you for letting me in on this journey with you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Tennessee and Texas. I enjoy working with couples and adult individuals. I am a big believer that we heal in relationships, therefore helping clients have deeper intimacy with themselves and others is one of my main goals. Having new experiences with ourselves and others gives way to healing and gives us courage to continue risking being vulnerable. Vulnerability is the key to having deeper intimacy and connections. I hope that through therapy you will be able to grow in deeper understanding and connection to self, learn how to engage with others to form deeper connections with them, and to experience whole-person wellness for yourself.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy hanging out at a coffee shop, trying new local restaurants, rock climbing, running, and spending time with friends.

My Approach

I work with clients through an integrative, holistic and systemic approach. I tailor treatment to the specific needs of each individual client, utilizing the different trainings that I have to help meet their goals. I see clients as a whole person with physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. I believe people are not the struggles they are experiencing. The struggles that clients come in with are impacted by the different systems they are a part of. These systems may include families of origin, friend groups, work places, society as a whole, etc. I believe that each individual person is made up of different parts that interact to make them who they are. However, our parts can become burdened by past difficult experiences that then move us to perceiving things through distorted lenses. My role as a therapist is to create a safe space where clients can dive deeper into healing all parts of themselves to experience life as their authentic selves.

My Specialities

Here is a list of the common struggles that bring people into therapy. You are not alone in experiencing the ups and downs of life. Our unique experiences in life impact us in our relationships to self and others, shape how we view and engage in the situations we encounter, and can impact us holistically—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Throughout the therapeutic process, we will unpack these struggles in more depth to help you live life as authentically YOU!
